In Globaloria so far it has been good. I got the partner I wanted and she is Lillian Justice. It has been the start to a good year. I remember almost everything from last year except for the looping code. It has been hard for me every since the being, but it has been a rough start cause I had to change all kinds of stuff. I need help with coding and how to short it out, but I will figure it out by the end of the year. I had alot of trouble last year, but I haven't had as much trouble this year yet. I tried my best last year, but it will be hard for me to get my game done cause I will need to get my game finished first. I will not use the Globaloria Help Desk this year cause they messed us up last year. I can't wait to start my game this year cause it is about my favorite topic which is Anne Frank. I can't wait until we have to start our paper prototype. My game and the paper prototype might not turn out as well as I hope, but I can always dream.

In this blog I'm going to tell you about our game that we hope to make this year. We are doing our game on Anne Frank. It will help kids learn a little about her and how to write a journal.
WHO are you designing your game for? (Include the player's age, abilities, and prior knowledge of your topic.) We are making this for 8th grade student's, they must be able to know how to write a good journal.
WHAT will your game teach the player about your topic? (Be specific!) It will teach them how to write a jornal and how often you should write in it.

WHY is a game a better way of understanding your topic than a quiz? Cause it doesn't act like a quiz game.
In playing to learn the game that I didn't learn anything was Saving the Animals because the only thing you did was save the animals from the oil. The lesson was not to put oil in the ocean. It is drawn alright and it works just fine, but the test hit doesn't work too great. The game I learned the most from was Andrea's Rockin Game because how to reduce fractions by being timed at the same time. It is good for students because you don't have time to put it in your caculator. It works just fine and the drag and drop works great. You only know what to do if you read the directions.
Coming back to Globaloria was fun. I knew I would get a new partner and get to make a whole new game. I was kinda sad because we don't have Mr.Lester anymore, but Mrs.Garrett is cool too. I like being back in globaloria cause I get to make a new game and having a new partner to see what they are like. My partner this year is Lillian. We are going to great this year I feel it. This year I'm going to improve by getting a little help and not make my game sloppy and bad. I'm glad i got back in globaloria becuase it is fun and kinda easy. The only thing I find hard is the codes and how they go in order. I can't wait to start on our games, but first we have to do our mini game.
