Challenges in Flash :D





I have had many different challenges in Globaloria is codes. The most complacted code is drag and drop and hittest. Last year the most challenging part in my game was HitTest. This year I don't like the Flash as much as last years. I have learned how to do it more than what I thought I would have.I haven't made my first playable screen so I don't know how hard it is going to be to draw it. It has took me a long time to make three screens. I am on my how to play screen I am just now making it. I hope my game is accomplishable. I can't wait to show our game. Flash is not as hard as I thought it would be at first, but I will get used to it.

Paper Prototype :D

  • The Big Idea: Describe your team's game topic. What is the most important concept you want your players to learn? I want my players to learn about Rockets and The Rocket Boys History.
  • Making Decisions as a Team: How did your individual ideas from "Imagining Your Game" come together for your team game topic? How did your team decide the topic? We first decided our topic to be about Anne Frank, but then we figured we should do something abut our own state so we done it on The Rocket Boys. 
  • Roles & Responsibilities: Tell us more about your team process. Please each talk about your specific roles, and how you work together. We have roles to do different scenes and different codes.
  • Research: What kind of research went into the way you will express the game topic?  We have found facts and stuff on it but not big searching.
  • The User Experience: Explain the game play. What actions does the player take in the game? Has this changed since you first started planning your game? Why? They have to drag and drop and hitTest.
  • Mastering Flash: What Flash resources have been most helpful in your learning so far, and why? How did you locate these resources? We haven't actually started making the game yet.
  • Overcoming Challenges: What curriculum topic has been most difficult for you so far? How did you overcome this difficulty? I don't understand this.

Non Quuiz Game :D














My game isn't going to be a quiz game because my game is going to have animations and drag and drop. It will not be a game where you just answer questions cause if it is the kids are not going to be intersected. I have made a quiz game last year so I know what a quiz game is. I am going to improve my game if it is a quiz game I will change it so it isn't. I can't wait to actually start my game even though I may need some help. Anyone could make a quiz game cause all a quiz game is questions. If you want to make a good non quiz game is add animations and not just have questions. Let them actually play the game instead of answering it. They have been many quiz games made and they are so boring. If you take the time and do everything right like you plan then yea you can make a good game, but if not then it's hard to tell what your game will be. Some quiz games may look good, but they are not fun to play.

Game Ideas :D





Lilli and I are wanting to do our game on the rocket boys.Our game is called Shoot for the Stars! We are going to let you shoot the rockets off if you get the chemicals right. You will have to add more chemicals every time you go up a level. Then as you get up to the stars you will have to not hit them and make it to the moon. If you hit a stor or moon you will have to go back to beginning of the level. Some of the game will be drag and drop and the other half will hittest. It would be good if we could do score too. It's hard to tell what we will add and take away from our game from now til the starting of the game. I can't wait to see how good our game turns out at the end of the year. I would like to win the compition, but if we don't it's cool cause I have fun just making the games. I can't wait to start our game!
